Affiliate terms

These terms cover the Porch Pirates affiliate program, run by Pirate Liquidation and Mystery Box Company LLC, doing business as Porch Pirates ("we," "us," "our"). By applying to the program or using an affiliate link or code, you agree to these terms.

1. What the Program Is

We give approved affiliates a personal referral link and, sometimes, a coupon code. When someone places an order after using your link or code, you earn a commission on that order.

2. Approval

Applying does not make you an affiliate. We review every application by hand and let you know by email either way. We can decline an application, or end an affiliate's participation, for any reason, at any time.

3. Commission

Commission is calculated and paid only on orders that are actually completed and kept, not refunded, canceled, or charged back. If an order tied to your link is later refunded or reversed, the commission tied to that order is reversed too, whether or not it was already paid to you.

Commission rates, the length of time your link stays credited to a sale (the cookie window), and payout schedule and minimum are set for the program you are on and can change going forward. A rate change never changes commission already earned on an order already placed.

4. No Self-Referrals

You cannot use your own affiliate link or code to buy from yourself, a household member, or any account you control. Orders like this earn no commission and may be reversed if found later.

5. How You Can Promote Us

Share your link or code however you like: social posts, videos, a link in your bio, and similar organic promotion. You may not bid on our brand name (Porch Pirates, or close misspellings of it) in paid search advertising. Do not make promises about box contents beyond what we publish ourselves, and do not represent yourself as an employee or official spokesperson of Porch Pirates unless we say otherwise in writing.

6. Disclosure

If you are promoting your link or code in a way that could earn you money (a post, video, or page), you must clearly disclose that it is an affiliate link, consistent with FTC guidance on endorsements. This is your responsibility as the person making the post, not something we do for you.

7. Payout

Payout methods are bank transfer (ACH) or Venmo. We never ask for or store your full bank account or routing number; those are handled through our accounting outside of this website. Choose your payout method and, for Venmo, give us your handle when you apply or from your affiliate details.

8. Ending the Program or Your Participation

We can end the affiliate program, or your specific participation in it, at any time, for any reason, including for a violation of these terms. Commission already earned on completed, non-refunded orders placed before the end date is still paid; nothing further accrues after that.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continuing to participate in the program after an update means you accept the updated terms.
